DESCRIPTION

Epoxy.com Product #449 Membrane Waterproofing and Reinforced Membrane Waterproofing
is a two-component, modified elastomeric material. After mixing and curing
it forms a tough, flexible waterproof membrane.

Epoxy.com Product #449 Membrane Waterproofing and Reinforced Membrane is applied to horizontal
surfaces of concrete, steel or wood to prevent penetration of moisture and
other deleterious substances. Typical applications are between slab waterproofing above and below grade.

Epoxy.com Product #449 Membrane Waterproofing and Reinforced Membrane may be applied in one coat up to 30
mil thickness on vertical surfaces without sag.

Epoxy.com Product #449 Membrane Waterproofing and Reinforced Membrane
	replaces Epoxy.com Product #417, Epoxy.com Product #418, and Epoxy.com
Product #419 waterproofing membranes which are no longer made.

ADVANTAGES:

MIXING:

Combine equal amounts of Components A and B in clean container. Mix 2 -
3 minutes with low speed drill and an Epoxy.com Mixing Paddle. Apply immediately after mixing.

APPLICATION:

Prior to applying membrane, the surface to receive membrane must be dry, clean
and sound, all construction joints and cracks that are sizable must be bridged with fiberglass reinforcing cloth.

To produce a membrane, apply by brush, roller, spray or squeegee. For best results, two coats are recommended.

If reinforced cloth is used, it shall be embedded in the first coat of membrane while it still in a
liquid state. A grooved aluminum or plastic roller can be used for this purpose. After the first coat of membrane and
reinforcement has become tack-free, a second coat of membrane shall be applied.

COVERAGE:
