Product #10 Lo-Mod Epoxy Binder
Low-viscosity epoxy adhesive and binder for patching, grouting, priming, and non-skid seal coats.
General Description
Product #10 is a 100% solids, low-modulus, low-viscosity epoxy adhesive used as a binder for epoxy mortar systems in patching and grouting applications, as a seal coat for exterior non-skid surfaces, and as a primer to help provide high bond strength for coatings and patches.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces to receive Product #10 must be clean and sound. Remove dirt, laitance, grease, curing compounds, and other foreign matter by sandblasting, mechanical abrasion, or acid etching. Mixing Instructions
The material temperature must be 50°F or above at the time of mixing. Stir each component separately before blending. Mix two parts by volume of Part A with one part by volume of Part B for three minutes using a low-speed electric drill equipped with a mixing paddle.
To prepare a mortar, slowly add three to five parts by volume of clean, dry, well-graded sand to one part by volume of mixed epoxy. Continue mixing until the aggregate is thoroughly wetted.
Application
Product #10 may be applied by brush, roller, or squeegee when used as a primer or seal coat. For skid resistance, broadcast sand at approximately two pounds per square yard. For mortar applications, finish the surface with a trowel. Prime the surface to be patched with neat mixed Product #10.
Limitations
Do not thin with solvents; thinning will prevent proper cure. New concrete must be at least 28 days old before application. The substrate temperature must be above 40°F.
Safety Precautions
Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin irritation. If contact occurs, wash promptly and seek medical help when appropriate. Use safety glasses with side shields and wear suitable protective gloves. Review the current Safety Data Sheets before handling or using the product.
Cleaning
Clean skin promptly with soap and water. If additional cleaning is needed, a waterless hand cleaner such as Gojo or Fast Orange may help. White vinegar or 91% isopropyl alcohol may also help remove remaining uncured epoxy. The use of strong solvents on the skin is not recommended.
Clean tools and equipment promptly before the material cures. Xylene, acetone, MEK, and most lacquer thinners will work. Follow the current SDS, use appropriate personal protective equipment and ventilation, observe fire-prevention requirements, and comply with applicable local requirements governing solvent use and disposal.
